Kirkey 16 Series economy drag seats are constructed of 0.125 in. thick 5052 aluminum. They feature a unique, tubular, rolled-edge reinforcement for the headrest. In addition, the seat bottoms are contoured to support the lower back and hips, and the sides are cut away to provide clearance for lap belts. Shoulder- and submarine-belt openings are standard. The exterior is TIG-welded, and the interior is MIG-welded for added strength. Kirkey 16 Series economy drag seats are ideal for entry-level, low horsepower drag cars on small tracks.
